I would definitely recommend Mr Philip Heaton and the Fitzwilliam hospital , I had arthritis in my hip after going through all the channels i.e injections etc. Mr Heaton recommend I had a total hip replacement which I had in November 2018 I have never looked back, the care I was given whilst I was in recovery was exceptional, I've just had my 8 month check up with Mr Heaton and was discharged I'm back at work and very happy to have no pain at all once again Mr Heaton and your staff thank you very much x

I had a total hip replacement at the early age of 50 , best thing that was ever done , pain had gone straight away . Recovery time was good, I started walking my chow chow dogs at 5 weeks , very careful short walks but there are 7 of them !!! Driving at 6 weeks. After the initial having to lay on back after op I now get great nights sleep again. I would highly recommend having this op if you are suffering , i have never looked back . Also I was limping quite badly so now have fully adjusted to walking normally again !!!!

I was waiting for a hip replacement at Boston hospital under a different consultant my operation was put back 3 times by this time I was in serious pain then I was moved into the care of dr heaton and I was in and sorted within 10 weeks I was up and walking about the next day

I had a total knee replacement in November last year. I cannot fault Dr. Heaton for his professionalism and very relaxed attitude. Also, the care of all the staff at Fitzwilliam was second to none. For anyone having this operation in the future, do as you are told and put the work in with the exercises.
