It was a great experience, had the cartilage trimmed in knee. In the hospital early morning and out by midday. Staff who looked after me were excellent. Very clear instructions about my recovery which has gone very well. I was walking the same day and fully recovered by the second week, enough to go on a 7 mile bike ride.
