I had a mastectomy under Dr Thiruchelvam and his team in April 2018. Dr Thiruchelvam was sympathetic to my other personal circumstances I had to put on hold due to my diagnosis. He managed my expectation well by being factual - from the point when my ultrasound showed the need for further investigation, the analysis and explanation of the various surgical options appropriate for me, to the practical process of treatment and recovery. This helped me immensely in coping with what I had to face as I felt informed. Dr Thiruchelvam's approach was always professional. He listened and answered my questions effectively. I felt at ease talking to him about my concerns.
