On initial consultation the doctor took time to listen to my concerns, he then performed a comprehensive examination. He then explained the benefits and risks involved and the types of surgery available and also the option of no surgery. At no time did I feel under pressure to take a particular option. Following my operation Mr De' Liguori Carino visited my room prior to my discharge to explain how he thought the operation had gone and to explain what I should do in following my discharge and how to contact him is I had any concerns. I would happily recommend this doctor. Mr Nicola De' Liguori Carino

Very impressed with this doctor, made me feel at ease ,was very polite and fully explained what was happening with my operation. He performed my operation himself, and afterwards came personally and explained how things went ,to which i was very pleased. After a month had passed i had a follow up appointment with Mr Carino and again he was very polite and pleasant, explaining how i was doing and what things to do next.I would definately recommend him and his team who did great work and aftercare.

Dr Nicola de`Liguori Carino not only has an excellent name but his standards are surpassed by none. From day 1 when i went to visit him about my inguinal hernia he made me feel reassured about my situation and also relaxed as i was stressed as to the extent of my problem. He told me it would be a simple operation and booked me in straight away announcing to me he would be performing the operation himself. This put me at ease instantly as i felt then that i didn`t need to explain my situation to another consultant and then be referred again to a junior doctor who would be just reading my case notes. Im sure the junior Dr would of course of been adequate but the personal touch that Mr Carino put on the matter just made me feel much more relaxed. The operation went really well and as promised Mr Carino performed the operation himself instantly putting me at ease. His follow up care was also of a high standard and he put to rest any concerns i may of had. In short i would well and truly recommend him to all everyone as his standard of care and consideration was top notch. Yours gratefully Michael Parkin

Nicola is very pleasant to deal with he assessed my problem (umbilical hernia) and explained the options available and recommended that it be dealt with rather than hope it get worse. He explained what was involved and listened to my concerns regarding my condition and we booked in to have the operation. An hour after I arrived home he rang me to apologise that he was in USA on that date so we moved it post Xmas. I liked the fact he called to apologise rather than just passing it on to his secretary. He wrote to my GP explaining what was going to happen cc was sent to my home. On the day of the operation he again ran through the details of what was to be done and did it as explained. Once I was awake he gave me an update and set a follow up 2 weeks later. After 2 weeks I went and was concerned that the hernia had popped out but he allayed those fears explaining it was purely a hematoma. A final follow-up was set for 5 weeks later where everything was fine. He again wrote to my GP discharging me. Throughout he has been polite, informative and professional I would definitely recommend him to friends and colleagues.
