I can not recommend Dr Masood enough! I am very grateful i was in his care and I felt confident that I was in such safe, knowledgeable hands from the get go. My husband came to all my appointments and felt the exact same way too. I would also like to mention Faye Scott(Dr Masoods secretary) she is so down to earth and always answered any questions I had. I suffered from a wide range of different symptoms, of which, I knew was all related to my monthly cycle. But as a time was going on they were increasingly getting worse. My symptoms, to list a few, varied from painful, tender breast lumps, tiredness, low mood, spotty skin, cold like symptoms, heavy prolonged periods, insomnia, itching, bloating, lack of concentration and a overall sense of unhappiness. I had endless appointments with my GPs over approximately three & half years, along with numerous blood tests and ultrasounds. Unfortunately I wasn’t getting anywhere, I was prescribed different medications, told to go on the pill numerous times(which I might add made me feel worse), told my symptoms wasn’t necessary linked to one another & even told it may just be anxiety. Then, thankfully, I was then highly recommended to see Dr Masood by a friend of mine (she had recently seen him) From the first consultation with Dr Masood I finally felt listened to! The minute I sat down in there I knew he was going to know his stuff! He asked me to explain everything, what I was feeling and what was wrong and he took time to take listen. He knew exactly what was wrong. I was showing all the signs and symptoms of severe PMS and from my previous ultrasound images which I took along with me, he could see my uterus was enlarged and that I had Adenomyosis. He explained everything throughly to me (he even drew images to help me understand better) and worked out a short term plan along with the long term options/plan of a hysterectomy. For the following 3months I had the zoladex implant to stop my monthly cycle and to help see which symptoms improved and also to suppress the adenomyosis. After the first month of zoladex, i felt like a new person. Majority of my symptoms had gone or improved. And a further improvement for the next two months. In May I had a total laparoscopic hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy by Dr Masood. I knew I was in safe hands and he went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. Surgery went to plan. I am now 9 weeks post op and all I can say is I will be forever grateful I was recommended to see Dr Masood.
