This consultation was excellent. I was concerned about the future and was listened to with empathy and care. The appointment was followed up immediately with physiotherapy with Eleanor, who was also excellent. When I left I felt so much happier! When I initially broke my wrist I was not offered physio and, with hindsight, I would really have benefited at the time as I was merely told to flex my wrist forwards and backwards. I appreciate that we were in the middle of lockdown at the time (10 April) but even a handout with suggested exercises would have been helpful. I feel much more informed this time and, as a consequence, much more confident.
