Having had an open myomectomy carried out by Mr El-Sayed in February this year, I found him extremely professional and caring. I had a miscarriage the previous year and that is when I found out I had a number of large fibroids. He was very understanding when speaking to me about my surgery and reassuring when I said I definitely wanted to have children. After the surgery, he reassured me that everything had gone well and I made a quick recovery. He told us to wait four months post surgery before we tried to conceive and I am pleased to say I am now pregnant. I have just had an appointment with Mr El-Sayed today and he was genuinely delighted for us. He has again been extremely professional and kept asking if we had any questions. I would highly recommend Mr El-Sayed - the NHS needs more people like him!
