I was so impressed with Mr Orify just from reading his excellent patient reviews, but he actually managed to exceed my already high expectations. After being told that my MRI results suggested up to a 50% chance of ovarian cancer, I initially phoned to try to get a private consultation with him to speed things up. The online booking system showed no free appointment slots for three weeks, but the very same day I enquired, he had his secretary call me back and managed to fit me in within a week. On meeting him in person I immediately knew I was in good hands -he’s obviously a very highly qualified and experienced surgeon but much more than that, he comes across as really caring, and is wonderful at putting all the risks and potential scary outcomes into their proper context, which is incredibly reassuring. He then got me a super quick NHS cancellation for my total hysterectomy. Surgery went without any complications and after a six week wait for biopsy results I very thankfully got the news that my cyst was benign. I cannot praise him highly enough, I’m very grateful I had him for my surgery, and cannot imagine a doctor more suited to caring for women during what has to be one of the most challenging life events possible.

Mr Mohamed is not only a brilliant surgeon he is a lovely caring man. I was anxious over my operation but he was understanding and very supportive and gave me confidence before during and after my surgery. I couldn’t ask for anyone better. Thank you so much.

Been told you have cervical cancer is something you think would never happen to you .I felt like my world had ended until I met my surgeon dr otify within minutes of meeting him I felt completely different I had great faith in him as he explained everything in detail and exactly wot was going to happen and recovery time and if I need extra treatment afterwards .so within 3 weeks of my first appointment i had my radical hysterectomy and lymph nodes removed i am recovering very well and I will be under him for the next 5 yrs just to make sure everything stays the same I strongly recommend this surgeon and thank him for giving me my life back .

I felt at ease as soon as I met with Mr Otify. He explained my treatment plan in full detail and took on board everything which I raised or was concerned with. My operation was in the middle of covid restrictions and therefore I was on my own for the entire time in hospital including Operation day. Mo made sure I felt comfortable throughout and this really helped my mental well being. The main thing that springs to mind is how he takes the time to listen, I never feel rushed and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. Being diagnosed with cancer and the aftermath is hard but I can honestly say Mo has made the whole process easier to handle and for that o am very thankful!
