I have been referred to Michael Swinn twice in the past three months, firstly for a raised PSA level which was a cause for concern for potential prostate cancer, and secondly for advice about a growing epididymal cyst. On both occasions I was totally impressed by Mr Swinn's professionalism, care and attention given to me. He suggested MRI and CT scans for my prostate and suggested and referred me to an excellent specialist to complete a template biopsy of my prostate. You can imagine my relief when the results came back negative. Mr Swinn always explained my conditions clearly in a 'down to earth' way to understand next steps. This enabled me to trust Mr Swinn to carry out very delicate surgery to remove the large epididymal cyst and I was amazed with the skill and attention given to the procedure. The surgery has left only a very small neat scar away from the area of the actual cyst and I needed no painkillers for the days after surgery - just some time to rest. I felt totally at ease under the specialist care of Mr Swinn and from my experience would highly recommend him for any relevant referrals or surgery.
