Dr Trotter is a lovely, calm, kind and caring person who listened to all that was said. He gave good advice regarding follow up examinations in a reassuring manner. I have full trust in him and he helped me with his relaxed manner and sense of humour which put me at ease. I would recommend him to anyone with similar problems in a heartbeat. He made what could have been a scary experience into something positive.

Matthew is one of the most approachable medical professionals I have met. He takes time to listen to your issues and thoroughly explains the situation and suggested ways forwards. Sheduling in the surgery was quick and the admission and treatment on the day was excellent. Follow-up appointments were initially by phone due to the Covid-19 restrictions and then final sign off was face to face (albeit with social distancing). Overall a great experience and a positive medical outcome.

Matthew Trotter has been excellent - I wish I had seen him years ago. Through successful, routine, surgery, Matthew has resolved my nostrils/breathing issues/successfully identified and treated my breathing allergies (making my day to day life much easier)/and identified and treated my hearing issues. He has a very friendly, approachable, manner. I would have no hesitation in strongly recommending Matthew Trotter to anyone who has any ENT issues.

I waited a few years before feeling confident enough to have an operation to repair my perforated eardrum. It was only when I had a consultation with Matthew Trotter that I felt less frightened as he was very approachable and encouraged me to ask questions. Although Mr Trotter didn’t guarantee that my hearing would improve following the operation I am delighted that it has and in the two years since my operation I haven’t had an ear infection. If you need to have a repair on a perforated eardrum I would definitely recommend Matthew Trotter.
