Dr Trotter performed 2 operations on my 3 year old sons eye. I am forever grateful for him saving my son’s eyesight. He had a worse case infection. He was absolutely brilliant and visited my son all the time. The after care was also brilliant. My family and I trust Dr Trotter. I couldn’t fault him. Thank you deeply for your amazing service. We are forever thankful for everything you have done for my son. Thank you!

I have been a patient of Mr.Trotter’s for over 2 years due to an ear infection that required a mastoidectomy operation, Mr Trotter has been brilliant throughout this time and he has pushed for the operation to done as soon as possible which hasn’t been easy due to Covid. The first time he examined me he explained exactly what the operation entailed and all of the risks involved in having the operation and not having the operation so you could make an informed decision and I felt total confidence in him. Every consultation I have had he is extremely pleasant and has a great bedside manner he has continued to explain everything so you are completely aware of what he is doing and why it is being done. I have every faith in him and his ability and I feel extremely lucky to have him as my consultant

As a self- funding patient, Mr Trotter reports his prognosis to my GP without delay so she can proceed with any necessary treatment immediately. Mr Mathew Trotter is both Professional and friendly. He takes time to listen to what you have to say and does not rush you. At my initial consultation, after examination, he diagnosed Glue Ear on both sides and discussed my treatment options very clearly. I decided to have adult grommets fitted using local anaesthetic, which he carried out within a matter of weeks on the 26th of November. I am very satisfied with the outcome and I can now hear clearly again. It was really good to to be treated by someone who is not only very knowledgeable, but who also realises that the patient is a human being and may need some reassurance. Thanks Mr Trotter
