Mr Whittaker is a life saver. I have had a few surgeries with him for my endometriosis and I could not recommend another specialist more. I have been seen many times through the NHS by different doctors and they never helped. I made the decision 10 years ago to go privately and it’s money well spent. He’s straight to the point, which I appreciate, caring, will listen and reassure you that he will help and refer you onto any other specialist that he believes will help with your condition. He’s brilliant at his job, I’ve been told many times whenever I’ve used the NHS that I’m lucky to have found him and have him as my surgeon. You couldn’t get better than Mr Whittaker, so thank you, for giving me my life back.

Mr whittaker showed no compassion or empathy towards me. He was forthright in telling me that i was too fat for any surgeon to consider me for surgery even if it were possible. Although i do know i am overweight there are ways of telling a patient this without embarasing them when they are already uncomfortable because of their condition. I do not think Mr Whittaker would have spoken to me in this manner if I had been a private patient. After this conversation I had to have an internal examination so by this time I felt extremely upset and vulnerable and just wanted to leave the surgery.

He does not listen at all, preferring to speak over and be dismissive of symptoms. Rather self absorbed with an inflated option of his skills. It is worth looking him up on Google.
