I decided to have lens replacement surgery earlier this year, and visited Optegra In Birmingham and met Mark to discuss my options. I decided to go ahead after a very thorough 2 hour consultation, initially I was going to have both lenses replaced 2 weeks apart, and went on the 20th March this year for the first procedure, I was nervous at first but was completely at ease by Mark Wevill and his team, the procedure itself took about 10 min max and was totally pain free, I had a patch on my eye for a couple of hours but when I took it off was amazed that I could read the small print on the drops bottle. The reading improvement was so great over the next few weeks I decided to postpone the second eye as I could see both distance and close up really well, but I definately won't hesitate to have my second eye done in the future, it's great not having to take glasses out with me when shopping or readin in general.
