Efficient. Explained the process. Dealt with me timeously. Had x-rays performed at each stage of the process. A lovely manner. I am grateful for his efforts. Had a knee replacement operation 12 months ago, which has improved my way of life. Hopefully will not require further treatments. Thanks Mr Cope.

Mr Cope was very professional and very understanding with my knee condition. From the first meeting he clearly explained what the process would be ad the timescales on completing the procedure. Mr Cope is very clear in his dialogue and made me feel very comfortable and manged to answer all my questions in plain English, allowing me to clearer understand.
It has been over 7 months since I had the knee replacement and now my life is coming back to normal, the replacement has now allowed me to kneel whilst praying which is a very important aspect of my daily routine and lifestyle. I am grateful for his support and thank you for a successful recovery.
The full team at Fulwood Hall Hospital from the reception desk to the ward matron, her team, Mr Cope and his team, the physiotherapist and clinical staff have been wonderful, keep up the good work and thank you.

I am a high volume hip and knee replacement surgeon, performing about 500 hips and knees a year. I have previously worked at Southport and Ormskirk DGH from 2007 to 2017 and was the Clinical Director for the last three years.
I now work full time in the private sector seeing NHS (choose and book patients) and private patients. My time is split between two hospitals in the Ramsay group.
I can be seen at Renacres Hall Hospital (Ormskirk and Southport) and Fulwood Hall Hospital (Preston).
