I was having problems with my eye lids and booked an appointment with Mr Kolar. He examined me and suggested that I would benefit from Blepharoplasty surgery to reduce the amount of excess skin. He explained in detail what it entailed in an hour long consultation. I had a further hour consultation after 2 weeks to decide whether to go ahead with the surgery. Mr Kolar performed the surgery with his team of anaesthetists and theatre nurses. They were all extremely caring and professional. The procedure was done with local anaesthetic and sedation. Post op care was excellent. Madeleine, the patient care coordinator called me regularly to check on progress during the following week. I saw Mr Kolar a week later to have the stitches removed. Again he took the time to examine me and explain how I was progressing. I had no post op pain, a little swelling which soon settled and some bruising which is fading.
