I was first seen by Mr. Chowdhry in November 2023 when he agreed I needed a full knee replacement and went on to undergo surgery in the following April. I'm now 9 weeks post surgery and couldn't be more happy with the result. Still healing but I am walking normally, climbing the 50 stairs to my flat with no problem and getting easier each day. Exercises given by physio, although some were painful, helped enormously with my successful recovery. I believe my entire experience was as good as it could be. Everybody, from Mr. Chowdhry and the anesthetist, who listened to my concerns, to all the nursing staff I felt I was in the best capable hands. I would definitely recommend Mr. Chowdhry and the Montefiore Hospital to anyone considering knee surgery and thank all concerned.
