My dad has been under the care of Mr Attar at Chelsea and Westminster Hopsital. My father is extremely vulnerable and has post stroke dementia and I am his deputy for health. His communication has been excellent with all of us. He spends plenty of time to provide patient centre approach. He is a good listener and he always puts dad as a priority. We are very grateful for all his help, hard work, dedication and care. He has always reduced stress during his care to our dad and our family. He does not only care for patient; rather he cares similarly and equally to patients’ relatives. He is also an excellent teacher and I have witnessed his bedside teachings to his juniors spending quality time to train them and teach them. Dad does not talk and Mr Attar always talked and spoke to us at all times. We are very thankful to him and we highly recommend him as an excellent NHS consultant urologist.
