Being very nervous about approaching a total hip replacement all I can say is that Mr James Gibbs was very approachable and empathetic in explaining the whole procedure and recovery process to me. Three weeks on from now having had this operation, he has confirmed that I am making good progress and has signed me off but saying to contact him if I have any problems. I feel very confident that the total hip replacement is successful and that with the help of physio therapy I shall make a good recovery.
