The whole experience with Mr Carmichael, from initial diagnosis through surgery and finishing with post operative consultation, has been great. He is professional, knowledgeable, gave reassurance of the outcome of the surgical procedure and was generally a lovely man to deal with. The Fitzwilliam is a fabulous facility and all the staff were helpful and went beyond expectation. My big toe has arthritis and was so painful it required the joint repairing and fusing into position. This isn't something to take lightly as it requires 6 weeks with your foot elevated after surgery but I can confirm he is a fabulous surgeon who knows his subject. He performed my surgery and the results are excellent. I can definitely recommend putting your trust in his ability.
