At the age of 86, I had a partial knee replacement performed by Mr Mersich. I found the whole process easy and stress-free, and a year later I am able to walk totally without pain. I found Mr Mersich to be utterly professional, friendly and approachable and would recommend him without reservation.

I was referred to Mr Mersich as I required a right hip replacement. He explained in easy to understand words what would happen during the procedure and what the recovery time would be. The operation was was successful and I was back on my feet within a day I needed a left hip replacement soon after and again, he talked me through the treatment & after theatre he visited the ward to let me know that the op was successful with no problems. The difference the new hips have made is wonderful as I can now walk without pain and stand and sit as normal. My family have noticed that I am back to my normal happy self and because I am able to be more active my annual check up at my GP noted that my levels inc sugar which had been creeping up were now back to normal.

I first met Mr Mersich when I was referred to the Park hospital, Nottingham through the NHS. He decided I needed partial knee replacement for both knees. He showed great care, explaining the procedure and keeping me informed right up to the operation day. The surgery went well and the aftercare was first class. 5 months later I was in to have the second operation which was just as successful as the first. One year later I have my life back doing all the things I love to do which includes hiking in the Lake District. Big thank you to Mr Mersich and all at the Park.

This man and his fantastic team have changed my life and I am forever grateful The care before and after has been excellent after my total left hip replacement, I would highly recommend this team at The Park hospital Nottingham I never thought my life would change so much from being unable to walk far with a limp and in bad pain to now being able to walk as far as I need to with no limp and no pain Scar is minimal Thank you so much for changing my life
