On 8th November 2019 I had a total knee replacement undertaken by Mr Akrawi at Tunbridge Wells Hospital which has proved a great success and improved my mobility enormously. To speed matters up my initial consultation with Mr Akrawi was by telephone when he fully explained the procedure, answered all my questions and put my mind at ease. I first met Mr Akrawi on the day of the operation, prior to going into theatre, when he briefed me on what was going to happen. I was the pleasantly surprised to be visited by Mr Akrawi in the late evening when he reassured me that the operation had gone well. A follow up consultation with him confirmed this and he was very pleased with my progress. Mr Hawar Akrawi is a kind and understanding surgeon and I can't thank him enough for improving my quality of life.
