From our first meeting Mr Dabke ensured that no stone was left unturned in order to pinpoint the problem affecting my back, incuding MRI scan, nerve conduction tests and x-rays.Everything was explained thoroughly regarding the processes leading up to surgery for spinal decompression.I much appreciated his frankness in so far as he did not predict overly promising results for the procedure. However 4 months after the operation I am somewhat improved already and he is hopeful of further progress as the nerves regenerate. Cannot fault him in any department.

On all levels, at the point of initial consultation, on the day of surgery or procedure and now post operative follow up I have felt listened to and taken seriously on all levels. Mr Dabke has at all times made me feel like it mattered to him how I was on any given day, how the outcome was and what could be done if anything else was needed. It has also been my decision on how to proceed and not just a directive, therefore providing the true meaning of ‘consultation’.

I found Mr Dabke to be a caring, listening, attentive doctor who explained all I needed to know when asked questions.

At 72 I was admitted Salisbury hospital, somewhat traumatised, with a broken ankle on New Years Day 2021. Mr Harshad Dabke performed an operation to repair ligament damage and a fractured fibula. I have just been 'signed off' by Mr Dabke, mid April following 4 post op consultations with him. Throughout these visits he has given me outstanding support, guidance, and highly professional and trustworthy advice. I have surprised many by making such a full and speedy recovery and all of that I totally attribute to the incredible skill and care he took in reconstructing my ankle in the theatre. What's more, whilst I was struggling with self administering Fragmin injections, he even took the trouble to call at my house on his way home with support medication. A truly superb surgeon who takes great care, and goes above and beyond what is expected of him. I can highly recommend him.
