Following a diagnosis of an L5/S1 prolapsed disc where I had reduced mobility, increased pain and was on an increased amount of opioid pain medications I was referred to Mr Dabke. He discussed treatment with me and initially I was listed for and given a steroid injection, but sadly this did not help. I was then listed for surgery with Mr Dabke for a micro discectomy and Mr Dabke was keen for me to be seen as soon as possible as I am a veteran and also a registered nurse. I was lucky to be given a cancellation appointment at short notice and went for micro discectomy surgery. I found Mr Dabke to be very caring, honest and professional. Following surgery Mr Dabke came to see me whilst I was in post anaesthetic care unit (recovery) and explained that the surgery had gone well. After a night in hospital (where all care was outstanding, SDH thank you!) Mr Dabke came to visit me on the ward to explain again how well the operation had gone and to give me some aftercare advice and let me know that I will have an outpatient appointment to follow. To say that Mr Dabke gave me my life back is a bit of an understatement! I am extremely grateful for his care, expertise and professionalism. Thank you Mr Dabke
