I have read Mr Spink's reviews and can only agree totally with truly well deserved comments.I had a few months seeing physio & chiropractic personal without any cure. After an MRI, I had the great good fortune to be referred to Mr Spink in 2012, who explained that discs pressing on my spinal cord was causing the problem. He explained the options , put me at ease, with his very reassuring manner, and confidence that the operation would be successful, which it was. He was there pre & post operation explaining everything. He did an Anterior cervical dissectomy & fusion. In 2013 I had lower back pain, & after an MRI , I asked for & again saw Mr Spink. He explained the scan, & the operation he would have to perform in such a reassuring way, I had no hesitation in asking him to do the operation. He did a L3/4 posterior lumbar interbody fusion. I am pain free and back to playing golf, cricket, and refereeing , thanks to Mr Spink's great expertise, and very reassuring manner. I have seen him this month , he reassured me that with exercises he was sure I would not require further treatment, for the problem, and I feel great. He always explained everything , fills you with confidence & has such a friendly manner, and at all times his nursing staff were excellent, first class, just like Mr George Spink.

I have been more than satisfied by the treatment and advice given to me by Mr Spink. My consultations were professional yet caring and Mr Spink explained everything in a way I could easily understand. After suffering from chronic sciatica for the last ten years and spinal injections not working any more Mr Spink explained in great detail what an operation would entail and put my mind at ease. I had a laminectomy (basically my spine was rebuilt with rods & screws) in July 2015 and after the initial spell in bed recovering my life now looks rosy. Walking is one of my hobbies and I can now enjoy long walks in the country without pain. I have so much respect and admiration for Mr Spink it was a pleasure dealing with him he is such a gentleman and I cannot thank him enough for giving me my life back, I would certainly recommend anyone with back problems to consider seeing Mr Spink.

I highly recommend Mr Spink. Upon waiting for a Neurosurgery consultation, I explored the Neurosurgeons in my region and was impressed by Mr Spink's resume and reputation. I opted to book for a private consultation and it was the best money I ever spent. Not only is he a leader in his field but he has the ability to explain your condition and/or procedure with great care and patience ensuring you fully understand all your options. Upon listening to my symptoms and undertaking a full assessment himself, I was referred for emergency surgery, to be undertaken by Mr Spink himself, the following day. I felt listened to and understood. He had great compassion and kindness and a reassurance that helped alleviate some of the fears and concerns that comes with a painful condition and surgery. This continued the next day awaiting surgery, in the operating theatre (before I went to sleep) and in post-op the following day. He has continued to be kind, patient and understanding with ALL of my post-operative / recovery questions. What a lovely man and incredibly talented. Highly recommended!

Mr Spink conducted my consultation impeccably. He listened to my concerns and questions about my condition, then fully answered all in a way I could understand (no medical jargon). He offered advice on which excersises best suited to help my condition, a very positive consultation when I was quite apprehensive.
