I was lucky enough to be referred to Mr Spink as an urgent case, we went to see him and he explained everything to us both in what was happening and what could happen! It all happened so fast, 1 week later it was done and dusted, the care was superb, everyone on ward 4 at hull I cannot praise enough, Mr Spink and your team thank you so very very much. I needed a ACDF operation ,and was so lucky to get Mr Spink as my surgeon,he did a fantastic job and the scar is barely visible now,He was so professional,I'm glad to say I am back to normal now,so anybody getting treatment from this doctor is VERY lucky,I couldn't recommend him enough

In football you have heard the hand of god well in surgery I have met the hand of god Mr George Spink. Through an accident at work 4 years ago mentally and physically I have totally deteriated to the point was no longer worth living I thought I had lost everything ,even the simple things we all take for granted ,i became institutionalised due to the amount of pain I was in 24/7. Therefore medication I had to have to relieve the pain became more and more. then my mental health deteriated it was a catch 22 situation. I felt like a prisoner in my own home just getting out of bed was really painful so any household chores was near impossible. going out with friends gone, attending appointments or even personal care was very difficult due to the pain, everyday I could my life ebbing away everyone had given upon me doctors etc then finally I got reffered to Mr Spink within 9 months two operations later I am pain free have got my independence back in turn this has given me my life back and Hope that I can now enjoy my life. Its only been 6 weeks since my last operation but I feel I can achieve so much the pain has gone and my mental health is improving day by day I still have a long way to go on that front but 4 years of your life is a lot to make up for I missed out on so much family get togethers, weddings, Christmas etc, going out with friends it was heart breaking .Wish I had met Mr Spink 4 years ago so he could work his magic such a professional in every way, one of the nicest person I have ever met so sincere all he wanted to do was help and support me in everyway he could everything he did was in my best interests he didn't give upon me when everyone else had, He totally listened to everything I had to say about how I felt, how the pain was affecting my life , my emotional well being. Then the Hand of Mr George Spink kicked in two operations later minimal scarring, pain free emotional well being improving he definitely scored in my book such a genuine man, empathic caring nature good communication skills ,totally approachable, so kind and understanding totally grounded sound as a pound .Would totally recommend him to anyone ,totally trust worthy twice he had my life in his hand and my gosh how he has improved it , I took a friend with me to my hospital visits and after seeing Mr Spink and the work he had performed she told me she wished he could be her surgeon when her operation was due. Would like to say THANKYOU Mr Spink for everything you have done for me you have given me my life back. and I wish you all the Best in your future as you have given me a future .
