I have recently undergone spinal fusion surgery.Prior to the operation a full explanation was given as to the benefits and possible complications.Mr Spink and his team were excellent.Although I would have reservations about fully recommending Spire Hospital

I cannot praise Mr Spink highly enough in so few words! I was terrified of surgery and worried that my injury could not be fixed. He listened to me and explained very clearly what would happen in a gentle but matter of fact way. He has a very reassuring manner and made me feel like I was in safe hands. I am now 6 weeks post op, (ACDF surgery) and my main symptoms had gone by the time I came round from the anaesthetic & haven’t returned, pain is greatly reduced and manageable and I am preparing to return to work. 100% right decision for me to undergo surgery and so glad I had Mr Spink as my doctor. Would highly recommend.

A very professional man that you can talk to and he listens, good at his job and I could highly recommend him. Mr Spink came into the hospital on Sunday his day off to see how I was getting on, how many would do that. I am so grateful for getting my life back but still some way to go. I had microdisectomy on my lower back to relieve the sciatic nerve which was giving me unbelievable pain.

What a lovely man. Mr .Spink is a true professional. One of life's gentlemen. I had see Mr Spinks several times and he has operated on my neck twice. I have nothing but praise for him. He explains everything, is calm and reassuring, follows up with a post op. Bedside visit and then a next day visit. He goes the extra mile and I would totally recommend him.
