Mr. Spink was very friendly and polite, interested in what I had to say, gave me a full examination for my condition and advice was given to help.
After Mr Spink carried out a cervical discectomy/fusion between C2/3 I finally feel as though I've got my life back, thanks to Mr Spink I no longer have pain down my arms and the headache I have had continuously for 7 months has now gone. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of his specialty, I have no doubt he will be able to help.
From my initial meeting with George I had the clear impression of a man who not only knew his business (and thereby, spinally, mine) but could also communicate that with a clarity and confidence that reassured me that I would be in safe hands.
Subsequently I went on to an MRI scan and afterwards a spinal neurological process due to Spondylolisthesis.
Prior to the procedure (3 hrs; general anesthetic) I was experiencing severe (and increasingly so) pain in my right leg. Now, four weeks on and post-procedurally, I have just completed a 14,500 Fitbit steps day - with no pain at all. The following day I managed only 13,500 steps..!!
I do have some tingling in my calf still, but am fully aware that this is due to pre- and procedural nerve bruising that should, over time, improve. It is doing, albeit slowly, so I am confident it will continue so to do with the physiotherapeutic oversight I am also receiving.
I can’t think of anything
Excellent treatment from diagnosis to minimal invasive surgery on a bulging disc and associated sciatic nerve pain.
