I spent 4 plus years with extremely disturbed sleep due to pain from shoulder impingement. Had the usual physio and many steroid injections but nothing worked long term. I had to push for a referral for surgery as MSK pretty much told me I was too old!! Someone was DEFINATELY looking down on me the day I was referred to Mr Talawwadekar. He had reviewed my scans, listened to the issues I was having, fully explained the cause of my pain and what could be done to resolve the issue. He has a great sense of humour and an easy way of making you feel relaxed and confident at the same time. I had my surgery just over a month ago and it was a complete game changer, was pretty much sleeping straight through the night within days for the first time in 4 years and have full range of movement. I cannot begin to thank him enough, I am only sorry I didn’t see him sooner. He is a lovely man, very personable but gets to the root of the problem and fixes it, a brilliant surgeon. To say Thank you just feels inadequate.
