Mr Toh is a Consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery at Southport and Ormskirk NHS Trust and is the lead for Foot and Ankle Surgery and the lead for Trauma at the Trust. Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy for Plantar Fasciitis and Achilles Tendinopathy Mr Toh's research portfolio includes peer reviewed publications, a book chapter and presentations at international and national meetings. His research work has received high citations across the country and have impacted on the techniques of surgical correction of inter metatarsal angle following fusion of the first metatarsal joint in hallux valgus deformities. He remains active in research and training of junior doctors.
