Mr Hartwright has replaced both my arthritic hips in the past 3 years. From the outset he has been professional, courteous, supportive and shown complete understanding of a patient's needs when faced with the prospect of major surgery. His advice and knowledge gave me the confidence to go ahead with the procedure which I had been putting off for a few years through fear and lack of understanding and empathy from previous consultations with NHS consultants at another health authority in the UK. I had complete confidence in him throughout the procedure and post-operatively. I had no hesitation in returning for the second hip replacement 18 months later. He was my surgeon of choice. I am now the proud owner of matching hips. It has not only transformed my life, it has enhanced it and I can look forward to a much brighter future.
