I would like to say a huge thank you to Mr Bailey on my recent knee surgery ,Mr Bailey explained everything right from the start , came to see me on the ward before surgery and after surgery it is wonderful to be pain free and to be able to enjoy life again thanks again Mr Bailey .

I injured my knee playing badminton a year ago. I was referred to Mr Bailey as an NHS patient by my GP. I am over 65 and had never had any previous surgery. I found Mr Bailey very professional, calm and reassuring. He listened carefully to me describing my symptoms and then, following an MRI scan, suggested a conservative approach via an arthroscopy. I felt I could trust Mr Bailey,who is clearly an expert in his field, to make the best decision for me. The arthroscopy was some 9 weeks ago. Afterwards Mr Bailey explained what he had done and what I could expect. I am delighted to say the arthroscopy has done exactly what Mr Bailey said. I am back to being able to walk without pain and my knee no longer locks. I would recommend My Bailey if you are looking for a professional expert who will listen to you and recommend the best type of surgery.

After years of knee pain and painkillers I had a partial knee replacement procedure carried out by Mr Bailey at RHCH in June 2017. The pre-planning was very comprehensive and thorough and the procedure went exactly as planned. The immediate post operative care was excellent. My recovery went very well- I did what I was told and stuck to the physiotherapy regime - and was back playing golf in under three months. Being able to walk without limping or relying on painkillers has really made a difference. I have no reservations recommending Mr Christopher Bailey. Thank you for the excellent work.

I was seen very quickly at the Nuffield Hospital. Mr Bailey clearly explained the procedure to me and a date for my operation was made. I saw Mr Bailey prior to my operation when he again explained the procedure. He came to check me post operation and in all 3 days that I was in hospital after the operation. The care I received at the Nuffield Hospital was excellent in all areas. My knee, 7 weeks on, is now pain free. Many thanks to Mr Bailey and all the Nuffield Hospital team.
