From initial diagnosis, through treatment and after-care Mr Bailey and his whole team at Sarum Road, Winchester, gave me nothing but professionalism, consideration, advice, information, excellent care and consideration. I cannot recommend Mr Bailey and his team highly enough. It was my first 'major' NHS operation so I didn't know what to expect but I needn't have worried. The service was speedy, very efficient and provided with enthusiasm and compassion. I have nothing but thank-you's with which to repay them. One of my main worries was about the anaesthetic as it related to my own personal history, specifically spinal anaesthetic as I'd had meningitis as a baby. Both the NHS website and Mr Bailey confirmed that the anaesthetist would discuss options with me nearer the time, on the day of the operation. I was totally reassured by the experience and calmness of the anaesthetist who gave me huge confidence to proceed despite my nerves. It would have been helpful to me personally if I could perhaps have had that conversation earlier in the process to reduce my concerns however this may not have been possible (and I didn't ask) and I have nothing but gratitude and respect for the work that the team does and did on my behalf. I would totally recommend Mr. Bailey to anyone needing a knee replacement operation. Thank you so much!
