Mr Anderson performed a conventional nephrectomy to remove a tumor from my right kidney and later dealt with another on my left kidney through cryotherapy. Both types of operation were my choice and were very successful. He has been extremely helpful with follow-ups over several years. His care has included monitoring the progress of previous bladder surgery, now under the care of another very competent consultant, as well as keeping aware of the progress of the excellent treatment I have been receiving for (unrelated) CML in Haematology at St George's. For all of this, I am very grateful, and would unhesitatingly recommend this brilliant surgeon and practitioner to anyone.

My mother has been unwell with complex kidney issues for 36 years and last year she underwent a complicated operation at St George's hospital under the care of Mr Anderson and his team. As a family we are delighted with the results as she enjoyed an improved quality of life. Unfortunately, she has developed other issues and Mr Anderson has been so supportive and understanding. Mr Anderson puts care of his patients first and takes the time to listen, he explains the procedures fully and really does put the patient at ease. I would highly recommend Mr Anderson not only is he a fabulous doctor but I would like to think that he is also a friend. Five stars really is not enough!

Explained the options clearly, and is reassuring and pleasant to deal with. A very skilled practitioner of keyhole surgery; a kidney tumour was removed early morning, and I was home by lunchtime the next day. The operational scars are now almost invisible. Trained in the latest techniques in the USA, he is probably one of the most accomplished urologists in the UK.
