I have seen Mr Chinmay Gupte three times in connection with knee pain. Following an MRI scan, the initial suspicions of chondromalacia of the patella proved to be correct and, moreover, a medial meniscal tear was identified. Mr Gupte has carefully and clearly explained the causes of my knee pain and the options available to me given my goal of a return to running. Whilst the extent of wear to my knee means that I will never run totally pain free, I now have the confidence to return to running whilst ensuring that I keep up an effective exercise regime. I also know that are various other options available to me in the future if the pain worsens and the conservative management proves ineffective. Highly recommended.
