I initially attended another hospital, however decided not to proceed as I did not feel at all confident in their abilities. I was then referred to the wonderful Mr Bruce Ramsay at Peterborough City Hospital. From the first time I met Mr Ramsay he put my mind at rest. I immediately had confidence in him, he explaining in detail what he intended to do to remove a huge 30cm fibroid which I had put up with for ten years. Mr Ramsay operated on me on the 4th April by way of an abdominal hysterectomy. He came to see me on the ward every day during my four day stay in hospital. His smiling face and bubbly, humours personality lighting up the ward. I would like to thank him and his team for the wonderful care I received. Peterborough City Hospital was immaculately clean, wonderful caring staff who were very attentive, and even the food was very good !! Thank you again Mr Ramsay.
