Mr AlKhaffaf saw me as an NHS patient on 10/10/16 for potential Gall Bladder removal procedure. It was confirmed that I needed my Gall Bladder removing. This procedure via keyhole surgery was completed on 14/11/16 by Mr AlKhaffaf. I was advised that the recovery time was 7 to 10 days. I was back running after 3 weeks with no problems. Still no problems as at 3/2/17. Mr AlKhaffaf acted with professionalism at all times. He explained fully why the procedure was necessary (I had no symptoms or problems with my Gall Bladder before or at the time), what the implications were if I didn't proceed, the potential risks during and following the procedure and the recovery times etc. He listened to my concerns, particularly the concerns with regard to my Liver. Allaying my fears post surgery before I was discharged the same day. I appreciated this and the fact that he saw and spoke to me in the recovery room and on the ward before I went home. A very polite and patient consultant who I would not hesitate to recommend. I felt I had been provided with a private health service (albeit I have never undergone private medical treatment) as an NHS patient. Thank you.
