I had a keyhole microdiscectomy surgery by Mr Chaudhary and the operation went well. I understood my scar would be much smaller than the standard (non-keyhole) technique, and I was able to go home in the evening. It has been a week since my surgery and recovery is as expected.
Mr Chaudhary clearly explained his keyhole technique and the risks involved in the surgery during the pre-operation consenting process.
For those suffering from the condition microdiscectomy is definitely worth considering. My sciatic pain disappeared immediately, and with the added benefit of coming off various painkillers.
