Every step of the way he supported me and explained everything that was about to happen, if it didn't he explained why and expressed his sympathy and understanding of my feelings and needs and reassured me that everything possible will be done to accommodate my needs and ease my pain. He involved me in the decision making process before and after surgery as much as needed and never make me feel like he is in a hurry or rushing although I am sure every minute on duty is precious for him.
