I had my left knee replacement surgery at Spire Hartswood, Brentwood. Mr Asif Parkar was my surgeon and he saw me for a consultation before the operation and was very kind and patient in answering my questions. I was very nervous about having the procedure and he was very reassuring and informative about what to expect. The clinic team and nurses, especially Sifiso and Natasha , looked after me extremely well during my time in hospital. My anaesthetist, Dr Paul Bala was particularly kind and reassuring, very professional and had a warm sense of humour. The surgery has helped me considerably as I can now walk without pain in my left knee and I am grateful to Mr Parkar for being so skilled at what he does. I now look forward to him carrying out a right knee replacement for me and I can recommend him to other people.
