I first met Mr Kolias to discuss the removal of my pituitary macro-adenoma. He took time to explain the tumour and the procedure details. He offered me two possible surgery dates in the next month. On the day he met with me prior to the surgery to reassure me and make sure all was in order. He removed the adenoma and as a result, my vision had been restored when I woke up (it was not a given that it would). After the surgery, Mr Kolias visited daily at the ward. After a CSF leak post my return home, he was fast in getting me back in the ward to avoid any possible Meningitis. He was very kind and direct when informing me of the steps to deal with the leak, which was dealt with successfully. in the consultation to review the surgery outcome he took time to explain the MRI and what the results meant for me. I can't thank him enough and I definitely recommend him. He is a world-class expert and very caring for his patients. Thank you very much!
