Despite my initial frustration that my GP's referral had not been included in my notes and subsequent delay in my scheduled appointment time, I was very pleased with the overall consultation with Dr Adeosun. He listened carefully to my concerns and after the physical examination we had sufficient time to discuss his initial findings and subsequent suggested management. What I found particularly helpful was that he used his computer to bring up online pictures of my condition and gave a detailed explanation. Being able to visualise gave me a better understanding of the surgical task ahead. Although the clinic was running behind schedule Mr Adeosun did not appear rushed or stressed allowing me time to digest what had been said and allowing me time to ask questions. I have had consultations in Broomfield previously where I have been made to feel as if I was being a nuisance and imposing. This was definately not the case today. The physical examination was done with dignity and I did not feel embarassed. The explanations were in clear english. I left far happier than when I arrived and for the first time (at Broomfield Hospital) felt that I had been listened to and not just 'on the conveyor belt'. Dr Adeosun gets 10 out of 10 Thank you
