This doctor cancelled my operation at the very last moment. After administering pre operation medication at great expense to the nhs. There may well have been good reason to cancel but to do so at the last moment and having administered medication was careless. Had the doctor been involved prior to the procedure unnecessary duress to myself and needless expense to the NHS would have been avoided. It was clear at the time of cancellation other members of the surgical team were angry and surprised. I would suggest this doctor spends more time assessing his patients before he makes off the cuff last minute decisions
