Kath Kirkpatrick was very easy to talk to. She did a biopsy under general anaesthetic, slicing me open and sending a sample away for examination, in the event nothing sinister was found. As my daughter said "Lady surgeon, at least the stitches will be neat then" and they were, the wound healed quickly and there was little or no pain. The whole experience, x-rays and scans etc. leading up to the requirement for a biopsy was carried out by a very efficient L & D team to whom I am very grateful for their care and concern.
