Miss Gahir spent a lot of time explaining to me my diagnosis and treatment as well as seeing me the day before my surgery was due because I had a cold/flu and was uncertain whether the surgery would go ahead.
She came to see me on the ward after my surgery and spent a lot of time with me on my follow-up appointment explaining what the after-surgery biopsies had revealed and discussed with me the on-going treatment. Overall she engendered a great deal of confidence in all the procedures that had been carried out on me.
