Try to write down any questions you have for the Dr so you don't go home and realise there was a particular question you needed to ask.
Make sure your appointment is not wasted and if you can't make it then ring and cancel with enough time if you can so that someone else can be brought in, remember by wasting an appointment by not turning up means another person who may be worrying has to wait for a n idea of what is wrong.
