In A&E he listened, sized up the situation, and took quick action. He explained what he felt was the problem, and after the scan returned to explain the results. My husband was admitted for observation.
The follow up outpatient appointment was exceptional. He listened, explained, made suggestions for the future, gave help about the completion of a DVLA form and advised on what action we should take re driving.
He completely included both of us in the discussions, was calm and quiet, and at no point did we feel that we should hurry up and conclude the appointment.
I can't think of anything we could suggest that would have improved our experience of Dr Tom Webb, and I wish he could give lessons to other doctors and medical staff in how to deal with and include the patient! We all hear negative things about the NHS but this was a positive example of very good involvement with patient and wife.
