First greeting when he meets his patients is to call him with his name and a smile. He makes me feel relaxed when I am with him in the surgery

I am an independent carer and accompany many of my clients to doctors appointments. Never have I experienced the level of care my client received from Dr Somalanka, literally from the first appointment onwards. I had been trying to get to the bottom of my Clients symptoms with many doctors over the previous 6 months, with no avail… Dr Somalanka, as well as working on kidneys, organised scans, heart monitors etc and liased with all the other doctors to get his issues identified and the correct treatment in place within a matter of weeks… He is a breath of fresh air in the NHS and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone, 100%.

After recent appointment with Dr.S.Somalanka at Woking Community hospital I wanted to express my gratitude for everything doctor has done for me, throughout many years now. After recent problems with my transplanted kidney i received a immediate care from the doctor S.Somalsnka with all tests done and results explained in very clear and understanding manner by phone call from him. For almost 9 years now i always experienced from him kindness, empathy, immense care, support, respect and patience with me. Im very anxious about my health but i feel like doctor S.Somalanka knows how to calm and reassure me to keep my spirits up.. Im very lucky to have him as my doctor - consultant and have complete faith in him. Doctor S.Somalanka is one exceptional specialist who always goes further than nessesary and shows great dedication to his profession. My wish is,for his incredible efforts to continue to be acknowledged.

Dr Subash Somalanka is a fantastic doctor, he’s very caring and listen to the patients. He deals with my problem very efficiently and explains very clearly.
