Dr Shymal Mashru was really helpful when I was receiving my diagnosis. I felt that he listened to me and took me seriously. I couldn't be any more grateful for his help. I have just finished my degree and after getting my diagnosis and starting medication my average went from a 56 to a 67 and I am so happy. This process has completely changed my life and I am so grateful to the team at Psychiatry UK.

I was assessed for adult ADHD by Dr Mashru in summer 2021. Dr Mashru helped me feel very at ease during my assessment - I felt he listened to everything I had to say and I felt comfortable talking with him about my difficulties, an experience I have not always had in mental health services. I have been discharged with a medication programme that meets my needs and felt I was given enough time to titrate effectively. I would absolutely recommend Dr Mashru to anyone seeking ADHD diagnosis.

Dr Mashru is an excellent psychiatrist. He is compassionate, listens well, provides excellent pragmatic advice and has a lovely manner. I highly recommend him

Dr Mashru made me feel at ease, he explained things in a way that was easy to understand, without being patronising.
