Dr Mashru was welcoming, friendly, an active listener and really put me at ease. He spoke in 'plain English' and explained everything in detail that I could understand. He also had a fantastic sense of humour, which is so important in these very challenging times.

He was attentive and interested but not patronising, he took great care and made me feel at ease. He explained a great deal about my situation and warned me of things to avoid. I felt listened to and not judged so I was able to have a simple honest conversation about my experience, it was actually a very pleasant experience.

I have now completed the initial titration phase and am settled in to my treatment plan. I wanted to say how transformational a process this has been for me, with Dr Mashru being a key component of that. He has been knowledgeable, patient and compassionate in our appointments and I cannot recommend him more highly to other patients looking to be assessed for and if appropriate, treated for Adult ADHD. Whilst the hard miles are yet to come for me, I am now in a position to tackle them head on - with a focus and clarity of mind that I did not possess at the start of this journey. Thank You Dr Mashru, I am grateful and I am sure all those who follow will be too.

I have had a lot of bad experiences with doctors and psychiatrists throughout my life, who have dismissed my and trivialised my experiences. As a result, I'm always extremely nervous when it comes to appointments like this. However, Dr Mashru was very friendly and reassuring, I did not feel dismissed or trivialised at all. He was very understanding of everything I said, and very reassuring that my experiences were 'normal' for someone with ADHD, and highly treatable. We laughed a lot throughout the appointment and I definitely didn't feel judged or disbelieved at all. It was a nice experience, and quite unique from any appointment I've had with psychiatrists in the past. I would highly recommend Dr Mashru, especially if you're quite anxious and would prefer a psychiatrist who is able to put you at ease rather quickly. Thank you very much for the assessment, Dr Mashru. I hope the medication is as effective as you expect it to be!

Dr Mashru is approachable, warm and sympathetic, making him very easy to talk to openly. He has provided treatment for my ADHD that has changed my life, enabling me to overcome lifelong mental health problems, and to become more productive and organised both in my home life and work life. I have been able, not just to cope with the life I already had, but to take on further responsibility at work. I am so grateful for everything he, and the rest of the team at Psychiatry UK have done. I don't have any suggestions on how my care could have been better.
