Dr Mashru was friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to answer all my questions. He clearly is experienced and feels trustworthy. He did a great job at explaining the concepts with a smile and making them interesting. Would absolutely recommend him :)

Dr Mashru, was nothing but kind, caring and appreciative of the issues I have battled with my whole life. He helped me understand that mistakes that have been made over the years in my diagnosis and treatment of depression & anxiety. Whilst I have suffered with my mental health that way for most of my life it was not down to a lack of seratonin, but actually dopamine, thus explaining to me how adhd affects the brain and our behaviours. It has been a journey to find the right meds but Dr Mashru and the psychiatry UK team have been amazing. I cannot fault the level of care, ease of communication and the support shown to me. I would absolutely recommend him as a Dr, and have found him to be friendly, approachable and easy to relate to one to one. Also the fact he suggested I try a short acting version of the medications when the traditional extended release ones gave me undesirable side effects, really was a game changer. I had at one stage during titration felt that perhaps I was one of the unlucky people that simply could not take meds for adhd. But finding the short acting ones has absolutely been a godsend. Definitely helped to change my life and that of my family's for the better. Thank you.

immediately i felt relaxed and calm he listened to my symptoms and understood me, for so many years i have found doctors not really listening to me or giving me any kind of help or suggestions to help my condition, for once in over 10 years i feel like im getting somewhere and a weight has been lifted, im really looking forward to feeling normal in myself and feeling some kind of happiness again, i liked that he listened and didnt judge me, i dont feel that he can improve as in my eyes he has been the only professional to actually listen to me and get a diagnosis

Really friendly and clear. Explained things in a very straightforward way without talking down to me.

Dr Mashru was caring and empathetic during my session. He put me at ease and any concerns I had prior to my appointment were quickly quelled. He questioned me thoroughly but without feeling interrogated. He checked my understanding of each point before moving on. I would definitely recommend Dr Mashru as he made me feel finally listened to.
